Millmax Interiors has grown from refurbishing/reupholstering/upcycling old furniture pieces to becoming one of the UK’s leading luxury bespoke seating brands.

In 2008 Millmax Interiors was founded by its current CEO as a family business and opened a small 300ft² upholstery & finishing workshop in Holmfirth on the north eastern edge of the Peak District National Park on the historic David Brown Tractors site.

The quality of our work was quickly appreciated and we moved to another much larger historic site in the Holme Valley.

When it comes to upholstered seating, we have more experience than most and a reputation for style, excellence & individuality. Being eager to pursue the original philosophy of the company we refreshed our business model and product range and started to approach the furniture market with a new spirit. Chairs where now not enough to satisfy the ever-growing demand for quality bespoke seating. Soon sofas, bar stools, ottomans and office chairs were added to our ever-expanding product range.

We have learnt a thing or two over the years about what our clients want, need and demand. Combining centuries-old manufacturing methods with modern technology, we can produce solid, high quality furniture pieces that will last for decades. Using time-honoured processes and methods, we can consistently produce a quality range of furniture that is sure to compliment any setting.
