Is bespoke furniture right for me?
First of all, weigh up the pros & cons and figure out if bespoke furniture is right for you & your home. Budget can be a major factor, but consider the entire lifespan of the product when comparing and calculating costs. It takes a lot of consideration before you buy bespoke furniture. Bespoke means that you have complete control and no limitations regarding the wood finish, upholstery fabric & finishing trim, every aspect is unique and tailor made to your needs and personal to you. How long does it take to make my bespoke furniture?
We offer an industry-leading bespoke furniture product lead time of approximately 8-12 weeks commencing from receipt of the fabric and confirmation of the wood finish.
Can I really choose any wood finish or colour?

Which wood do you use to make your furniture?
We’re proud of our products and we’re proud of what they stand for. All of the timber we use is sourced from FSC certified forests in Northern Scandinavia. This means you can be sure the timber used to make your furniture has come from a sustainable and responsibly managed renewable source. The European hardwood (Beech) we use has been kiln dried using state of the art technology which ensures stability and minimal movement, if looked after correctly, your bespoke furniture will last for many years to come.
Do you specify fabric or can we choose?
We are entirely flexible on your choice of fabric, we're also very happy to work with your own personally selected fabric, please consult our custom fabric section to find out more.
How much will my upholstery fabric cost?
Tricky question! It depends hugely on a range of factors. Consult our custom fabric section to find out more or contact us for advice.
What information do you need from me to place a bespoke furniture order?
We need to know the product name you wish to order, your chosen wood finish, the upholstery fabric you'd like to use and the finishing trim.
Is there a guarantee?
Yes. All made-to-order bespoke solid beech frames are fully guaranteed for 15 years. Fabric will wear depending on usage and treatment. Please follow the care instructions for all fabrics used.
No, our standard Monday-Friday UK mainland delivery is free for any number of items purchased at the same time and delivered at the same time to the same UK mainland address. Please visit our delivery page to find out more.
Do you deliver on weekends?

I don't live in the UK, will you still deliver bespoke furniture to my country?

How do I cancel my made-to-order bespoke furniture order?
Millmax Interiors provides a bespoke furniture service, and all bespoke furniture products are made to the customer's specification and are clearly personalised. Therefore the statutory seven (7) day cancellation period under article 10 of the Consumer Protection Regulations 2000 does not apply. No cancellations will be accepted by the company once production has begun, we start the production process within 24 hours of the order being placed. Where the client cancels an order prior to the start of production, the client will be responsible for all the costs incurred to that point by the company.
